By registering for the 2017 MSPEC Conference, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
MSPEC has organised the conference in association with QT Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia. MSPEC has taken extensive measures to ensure QT Port Douglas delivers the agreed services but MSPEC does not accept any liability if QT Port Douglas does not meet its obligations.
All accommodation arrangements are a matter solely between each delegate and QT Port Douglas.
If registering a delegate on their behalf, you confirm that you are authorised by that person to make the booking and that person has agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Full and clear payment must be received by 5pm 30 April 2017 to obtain the 'Early Adopter' rate. MSPEC will not chase employers or sponsors for payment on the delegate's behalf.
Registration fees must be paid in full by 5pm 22 September 2017 to take part in the conference.
By registering, you confirm and acknowledge that you are a Healthcare Professional or scientist working in the field of medicine, including hospital medical and surgical specialties or primary care. Exceptions are made at the sole discretion of MSPEC.
MSPEC does not accept responsibility for the views expressed by the individual speakers.
Cancellation & Amendments
Email amendment requests to MSPEC at email@example.com. MSPEC will do its best but cannot guarantee to accommodate the request.
Cancellations must be emailed to MSPEC at firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds are as follows:
If MSPEC is forced to cancel or amend any aspect of the conference (including the conference programme) or cancels the entire conference, delegates will be notified promptly prior to the advertised date of the event. MSPEC accepts no liability in respect of any loss or damage, whether direct, consequential or otherwise arising from any delay in providing the conference or change in venue.
Personal Information & Imagery
MSPEC takes the protection of personal information seriously. It will not pass personal information it obtains to third parties without the person's prior consent, except to circulate a list of delegates to other attendees. If you do not want your name, job title and organisation to be on this list, please email MSPEC at email@example.com.
MSPEC may use general information, without identifying individuals, for promotional purposes.
In registering for the conference, delegates agree to MSPEC taking photographs during the conference solely for promotional purposes. MSPEC respects the right to privacy so, if you do not wish to be in any photography, you must notify MSPEC prior to the conference at firstname.lastname@example.org. MSPEC does not accept responsibility for photographs taken and used by others e.g. delegates and speakers.
Conference Organisation & Donations
MSPEC is a brand only and MSPEC conferences are owned and organised by a New Zealand company called Specialist Education Limited. From a legal perspective, the term 'MSPEC' means 'Specialist Education Limited' throughout these terms and conditions.
Should any proceeds arise from organising a MSPEC conference, Specialist Education Limited will donate to a charity local to the venue as a gesture of goodwill and to recognise the inspirational environment MSPEC delegates have benefitted from.
